Passively cooled Radeon
Sapphire has invented passively cooled graphic card based on Radeon 7770 specification. Frequency of the card is 1000MHz and the built in memory frequency is 1125 MHz.
The cooler system is completely passive, which means there is no moving parts and noise of the graphic card. Negative part is big dimensions caused by the size of the passive cooler. The passive Radeon 7770 is almost 30% longer than a card with an active cooling. The price of the Radeon 7770 is not yet known but is expected to be 40% higher than the Radeon with an active cooling system.
