PlayStation 4 to support 4K resolution

PS4 News - PlayStation 4 will support 4K resolution

BGR reports Sony is planning to implement 4K resolution in its upcoming console as a way to draw consumers to 4K television sets.
Sony is reportedly planning to double the resolution of the PlayStation 3 for its next generation console, according to consumer electronics news siteBGR.

4K has a horizontal pixel count of 4096, and is double the resolution of 1080p. Crazy Huh?
Development on the PlayStation 4 has been tracked back to 2010. Regarding when gamers might see the PS4, PlayStation CEO Andrew House has previously stated the publisher won't show the new hardware until it can demonstrate a "significant" leap over the PS3. Do you think that's true?
I think both PS4 and xBox720 will be on the store shelves by the end of next year.PS4 is rumored to boast the same graphics card as Microsoft's xBox 720.
